All Light, Everywhere explores the past, present, and future relationships between technology, vision, and power. From arcane theories of sight to the emergence of virtual reality and police body camera programs, the film takes a kaleidoscopic investigation into how the reality of what we see is constructed through the tools that we use to see.
About The Team
Theo Anthony (Director) is a writer, photographer, and filmmaker currently based in Baltimore, MD. His work has been featured by The Atlantic, Vice, BBC World News, and other international media outlets. His films have premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, Locarno International Film Festival, Rotterdam International Film Festival, SXSW, and at Anthology Film Archives. In 2015, he was named one of Filmmaker Magazine’s “25 New Faces of Independent Film.” His first feature, Rat Film, was released by MEMORY and Cinema Guild in 2017 to critical acclaim, with Richard Brody of The New Yorker calling it “one of the most extraordinary, visionary inspirations in the recent cinema.”
MEMORY (Production Company) specializes in developing and producing high-quality feature films, television and digital content on a global scale for an international audience. Focused on discovering and mentoring new talent as well as collaborating with established filmmakers, MEMORY creates innovative, thought-provoking entertainment distributed on a variety of new digital platforms. After producing Gia Coppola’s debut feature Palo Alto (James Franco, Emma Roberts), and M Blash’s The Wait (Chöle Sevigny, Jena Malone), Sebastian Pardo and Riel Roch-Decter teamed up to found MEMORY in 2014. Since then the duo have produced and released the feature-length documentary Life After Death from Above 1979 chronicling the reunion of the dance-punk band Death From Above 1979, as well as executive producing Celia Rowlson-Hall’s debut feature film MA which premiered at the 2015 Venice Film Festival and won the Breakthrough Audience Award at the 2015 AFI Film Festival. In 2016 MEMORY premiered Carson Mell’s debut feature Another Evil at SXSW Film Festival, Dean Fleischer-Camp’s Fraud at Hot Docs, and Theo Anthony’s Rat Film at Locarno.
