What types of projects does Cinereach consider?
Submitted projects must be:
- Feature-length (over 60 minutes)
- Intended for theatrical exhibition
We do not accept:
- Short films (under 60 minutes)
- Serialized/episodic work
- Web series
- Virtual or augmented reality, or other immersive/interactive work

In what ways can Cinereach get involved with a film? What kind of support should I ask for?
Cinereach tailors how we engage with a given project to fit the unique needs of the film and filmmakers. It’s best to be as open with us as you can about what your project and team truly need to activate your film’s full creative potential.
How do I know if it’s the right time to submit my project to Cinereach?
That’s really your call, but our submission portal is the easiest way to get an answer to the question Is my project a fit for Cinereach right now? We welcome filmmakers at all levels of experience, and we especially appreciate opportunities to look at projects that are early in their development.
When will I hear back from Cinereach about my project?
After submitting a project, most applicants hear back from us within 10-12 weeks.
How can I check the status of my project?
Once you’ve submitted your project, you can check on its review status at any time simply by logging into the submission portal and looking under “Stage” on your home screen.
Can I re-submit the same project (if it wasn’t a fit the first time)?
Applicants may submit the same project a maximum of 2 times within a 12-month period.
Can I submit multiple film projects?
Yes. Please create a separate submission for each project.
Does my application have to be in English?
Yes. While we will consider films in any language, the application itself must be written in English.
If I have submitted to Cinereach in the past and want to submit a new project now, do I need to create a new account on the Cinereach portal?
You should be able to use the same email address, but you may be prompted to change your password.
What should I do if I have a technical question or problem with my application?
