Philipp graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in Film Production. He's directed several shorts and has gained experience on various different sets. Originally from Germany, he likes to travel and thinks the lack of global unity is at the core of many of today's problems and dreams of a more acceptive and respectful future. Just recently he was invited to join the Leadership Circle of the Creative Visions Foundation.

Michael is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in Film and Television Production. He is an artist and filmmaker, and has extensive production experience. Michael believes in the celebration of cultural difference, and the power of film to nurture understanding.

Reva Goldberg

Reva has an extensive background in film and TV production and audience building. Most recently she was a producer and director at Pureland Pictures where she produced All of Us, a documentary directed by Emily Abt. Grants Goldberg wrote and received for the film include IFP/NYSCA, The Lucius and Eva Eastman Fund, Open Meadows and The Valentine Foundation. She co-produced Abt's feature film Toe to Toe (now in post) and Pureland's commercial work, and directed promotional films for the Cooke Center for Learning and Development, EMpower and many other clients. In 2004 at CBS News Productions, Goldberg was Associate Producer of an Emmy-nominated History Channel documentary on the 9/11 Commission Report. She has worked with TLC, UPN, Discovery Health, The Travel Channel, Washington Square Arts/Films, Cronkite Productions and the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. Goldberg is from Newton, Massachusetts and attended Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Andrew brings a decade of experience in international development and program design to his position as Grants Manager for Cinereach. Andrew’s extensive experience directing humanitarian relief and program operations includes positions with FilmAid International and AmeriCares, among other organizations, in such diverse locations as Iraq, Chad, Sudan, Kosovo, Turkey, Lebanon, India, El Salvador, Japan, Mozambique, Georgia, Albania and the Dominican Republic.

Margaret graduated from Santa Clara University with a degree in Creative Writing. The following year she completed a year-long social service program working for a women and children's homeless shelter in Washington State. Prior to beginning at Cinereach, Margaret worked for the organization FilmAid International.

 

Fern Portnoy

Fern is an independent consultant to individual philanthropists, foundations and non profit organizations and has worked for 15 years as the chief executive officer of the Piton Foundation, a private, entrepreneurial grant making organization. Fern has also worked with the American Foundation for Aids Research, AT&T, Amado Family Foundation and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.

Bruce is Counsel to the law firm Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP and a member of the Supervisory Board of Agora SA, the largest circulation quality newspaper in Poland. He is also a Director of FilmAid International, the Centre for Law and Economic Justice, Citizens Union of the City of New York City, Sustainable South Bronx and the Sabre Foundation, and Director Emeritus and Secretary of Human Rights Watch.
